Paradise Island is a tiny gem legendary for its pristine beaches and world – class golf course and it also boasts a world – class water theme park. Paradise Island was largely underdeveloped and known as Hog Island until 1962. It was converted by A & P heir Huntington Hartford during the period when he built the island’s first resort complex. Several tranquil getaway spots are still in existence although several huge high-rise resorts including million dollar houses have been erected since then.
